Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds

If I had anymore tears to give for Carrie and Debbie I would of cried the entire way through. This was a beautiful exploration of an amazing relationship between mother and daughter. One of struggle and love and honesty and deep commitment to one another. The greatest testimony to their endearing relationship is that dear Debbie Reynolds could not bear to be without her daughter for even a day, passing so very soon after her beloved daughter. They are both unique and wonderful souls and dearly and truly missed.

Bright Lights is a very entertaining watch from start to finish. It really doesn't matter that Carrie Fisher and her mother Debbie Reynolds have recently passed away this documentary would've been incredible either way. The two women love each other despite being very different in some ways. Debbie Reynolds was always a star and she really shines bright in this documentary, more so than Carrie does. You can really feel the love between mother and daughter here and the fact that these women died a day apart really makes sense. Bright Lights tells you all you want to know. Its not all sunshine and roses. It gets a little dirty sometimes which is hard to avoid when both women were such huge stars. This documentary may have gained more meaning because of Fisher and Reynolds death but it is a great story either way.
