I cannot disagree more with this documentary. It just shows you some studies and opinions to convince you to go vegan, without really telling you in a direct way. Most of those papers are misleading and don’t prove anything. I agree that diet is, along with exercise, the most important part in a healthy lifestyle, that’s the only point I can agree with.

However, they tell you the experiences of people who were obviously bad eaters feeling great now because of a plant-based diet: they would have got the same results just becoming healthy in an omnivorous way. A factor in all of that is that vegan people are obviously more into a healthy lifestyle in general and it’s difficult to have bad eating habits with such a big amount of vegetables in your diet.

Vitamin B12 is like a second on screen and their conclusion is that it’s better to get it from pills. Really? Moreover, I don’t believe those very muscled athletes don't eat any protein supplement in their diets even if it’s vegan protein. Protein coming from plants has just a slight problem: it comes in relatively small amounts. It definitely won’t make you build that much muscle. Nevertheless, that’s another topic.


I just hope that people who watch this documentary have some critical sense and go somewhere else to contrast the information.
