This probably one of the boring Kdrama storyline ever, the premises actually good however the story doesn't lead to anywhere
There's so much character, but they failed to make the audience relate or care the character's struggle.
The ending was so so meh, there's not even a asteroid crash scene!!
So frickin dissapointed. Luckily i skipped a ton until the end. And glad this super boring drama has over.

It’s simple: if you are looking for a post apocalyptic, dystopian show avoid this at all cost. They used the asteroid as a canvas for a story that has nothing to do with it. Completely disconnected, illogical and boring.

Do yourself a favour and invest your time in something better. What a waste of time!

Totally boring, nothing is happening. I barely finished the 2nd episode. If you are expecting a "MOVING" or something with tense and sci-fi stuff, do not even touch it.
It is just a silly drama.

Goodbye Earth - :heart:x7

This is more of a pre-disaster non-action show. It is very heavy on the Drama with a little vigilante/revenge/murder/mystery thrown in for good measure. The story unfolds slowly. Very slowly. But if you stick with it I feel it pays off.

The strangest thing is watching the Korean Nation carry on living their lives, doing their jobs as if there were no death clock counting down to their absolute destruction from a meteor. Not to mention the rest of the world as well.

The show is both a bit depressing and inspiring to see a more realistic look at what humanity might be like at the end of the world.

How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!

Prime example of:
1. Useless English title.
2. Wrong marketing message.

The original Japanese and Korean titles are MORE ACCURATE. The English title «Goodbye Earth» sets the wrong expectations, which leads to disappointment from the audiences.

Secondly, they marketed it as sci-fi and apocalyptic when it has nothing to do with those other than as a literary device to set the stage for the story. It is a life and social story, nothing sci-fi, nothing “let's try to save the Earth and show world unity”.

They should've simply translated the original Japanese and Korean titles, which are the same. Whoever thought that it is appropriate to give it a different English title, did not even bother to watch the series or check the original source material.

Wrong marketing + Wrong title = setting the wrong expectations = massive disappointment for many.

Such a waste.
