"I wanted to like this, but I don't. Every single hero character is excruciatingly annoying. There is literally no likable character to root for. The show had potential, but they let CW do what they do best... Turning TV shows into crap. It's got a better production value than the typical CW show, but that's about it. The plot is OK, but the dialog is painful to sit through. The cast of villains are way more interesting than the cast of heroes. I'm trying to make it through the season... Wish me luck"

"Struggled to watch season 1. Mainly watched as filler. I just can't get into these high-school teeny bopper joints. Going into hidden just like I did with Legacies."

It was not bad, actually.
It was really good. It had a cinematic feel to it too!
And the special effects were amazing.
Plus, this is probably Luke Wilson's first TV debut!

Looking forward to S2!

Secondly, it's not clear why Starman is su More

Stargirl perfectly captures the goofy wonder of old-school superhero comics. The script is decent, the special effects are good, and the actors all pull their weight. Early episodes feel a bit insubstantial but that's remedied as the show progresses. So far, it's the best yet of the CW DC shows. I'm More
