Movie wasn't bad but also failed to capture my attention at several points. Daughter fell asleep with 15 minutes left and almost completely forgot about the rest of the movie until I saw it in my trakt history. Seen much much worse, just also don't really care about the outcome.

Weighed down by its sense of self-importance, the film has some good moments, but not enough of them. A better script and a longer running time would have helped to explore these interesting characters.

This is another movie that seems to have gotten a polarized response from viewers. If people watched it because they knew Idris Alba from Hollywood movies, by and large they were disappointed with the pace of the storytelling and the unsensational characters.
