A nothing sequel, but '101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure' makes for a marginally good film on its own merits.

It can feel like a retread in parts, though I believe it adds a decent enough storyline that is still mildly enjoyable to watch. It revolves around Patch (Bobby Lockwood) and has a couple of heartwarming moments, whilst adding likeable new characters.

Lockwood does an OK job in the lead role, his voice does work nicely. Barry Bostwick comes in well to voice Thunderbolt, who was in the original 1961 production but only minorly. Martin Short is alright as Lars.

Cruella de Vil (Susanne Blakeslee), Jasper (Jeff Bennett) and Horace (Maurice LaMarche) are all a little watered-down in this, while the animation isn't as pleasant-looking. Some chunks of the plot are silly, too.

Probably a better film than you'd expect, even if it isn't the greatest.
