(via Movie Blaze for WP) Watched this film aged 11 thirty years ago on t.v home from school sick and thought its was awesome. Rewatched it 4 times since and its greatness has not dimmed at all. Timeless.

I never thought a movie with only 12 men in 1 room with no action could be so thrilling, so engaging, so thought-provoking, so emotional so... PERFECT!

The plot is amazing. 12 men just argue and discuss murder in a room for the whole film. In A room! The film, however, is so interesting. It's probably a good description of American Jury System in 50's.

Truly a masterpiece. A film of the 50s, shot entirely in a single set, which manages to keep the tension always high alternating with moments of pause to let us viewers breathe and with super sensible motivations, without too much forcing. A denunciation of the American government that is said to be perfect but is full of prejudices. Every single actor played their part PERFECTLY. I never thought I would put a 10 on a 1h30m movie.

A single room movie just talking should not be this good but it's amazing. The plot is engaging and the camera work is incredible.

Sometimes I hate myself.

Why in the fuck did I wait so fucking long to watch this masterpiece???

One of the greatest movies I've ever saw. Great dialogues, great direction and the acting, oh boy, the acting..... specially Henry Fonda and Lee J. Cobb (so fucking good).

Sorry for the cursing. But yeah, this movie is fucking great (sorry again). I'm mad!

So good and fluid. What amazed me the more was that it's a very old movie, just one place where happens the action, but doesn't bores at all. It's very well made, and I think it's so hard to make something like that and that good. So in my opinion, old but gold.

@cesarcozar why are you surprised an old movie could be good? Some people would even say that they are the only good ones. Old _and_ good.

Simply perfect. A classic landmark movie in the whole cinema history. After watching movies like this you realize how low today's movies quality standards are.

2.6 points -> Cinematography (0-3)
1.9 points -> Acting and Characters (0-2)
2.9 points -> Plot (0-3)
0.9 points -> Score (0-1)

1.0 -> enjoyed the movie. (0-1)

Aka. 9.3 points + 0.7 for being awesome = 10.0

It was love at first sight. Really deep movie, makes you think twice before you do anything.
