It should be a crime to make a racing movie this boring.
Race for Glory: Audi vs Lancia starts quite interesting but as soon as we get into the 2nd act and then the final act. It becomes extremely uninteresting and the pacing is flat even the racing scenes couldn't help it, those weren't terrible but just overall ok. I simply didn't care about the characters or the outcome of the story. The main character felt kinda obnoxious and Daniel Brühl was sadly underused.
It's not a car crash of a movie that's for sure.

Can't tell you much about the movie as I only watched 10 minutes or so. But if you're not willing to read subtitles you should stay away. Because depending on who's in a scene the language is either english, german or italian.

And since it's a fictional story better watch a documentary if you want to know the real story.

Already released, but dont bother, its awful!

If there is a way to make a movie dull and uninteresting... THIS is the way to do it.

Bad writing and dialogue + bad acting + really bad editing and a story that just isn't very interesting all wrapped up in the end credits telling you that it was all made up and not even close to being historically accurate.

The story actually went out of its way to make the movie dull and uninspiring.
- They've got a young-gun driver that's got some kind of concussion and constantly needed evaluating... but we have no idea WHY he's even in the movie!!
- The main competitor - a German race car driver, just suddenly becomes the Team Principle near the end of the season and doesn't compete to win the championship. Huh?!!
- He brings in a doctor that he's just met and knows nothing about her, but she's just what the team needs. She turns out to be a former rally driver's daughter... Here's the best bit - she actually asks him: "Why do you HAVE to win? Why is it so important?"
