Cheap, schlocky follow up to a kick ass comic horror flick. This franchise deserved better. The story is decent, but the acting and effects are pretty lacking. I mean really, you'd think in making a VAMPIRE movie, they could at least focus on getting the blood to look better than kool-aid... The ending was pretty decent though.

Completely unnecessary sequel; not much happens, poorly written dialogue, predictable. Skip it.

Who is this new Stella!?, should've been Melissa George instead of Kiele Sanchez

Stereotypical and formulaic, _30 Days of Night: Dark Days_ is an uninspired sequel with little substance. The story continues as Stella Oleson tries to fight the government cover-up of what happened in Barrow, Alaska, and is recruited by a group of vampire hunters in search of the queen vampire, Lilith. The film falls back on the same tired old vampire tropes and has no imagination to speak of. The writing is poor and the characters are all one-dimensional. Some of the action is good, but it’s mostly action for action’s sake. Nearly everything that was interesting and unique about the first film is absent in _30 Days of Night: Dark Days_.

Like Simone Biles at the Tokyo Olympics, this started out OK, but then got a bad case of the twisties, and couldn't stick the landing. All of the main characters got a severe case of the "stupids" at exactly the wrong moment, leading to multiple dirt naps on the wrong side of the lawn, in service of moving the plot along. Queen of the Darwin Award's however, is split between Mia Kirshner's "Lilith", for falling for an okey doke SO obvious that you can call it 5 minutes before it happens, and Kiele Sanchez's "Stella", although I am willing to remove 1/2 a Cinema Sin, for her being "in love", and perhaps knowing what her fate was to be when she carried out her rather silly plan, which in the end negated all the efforts to keep the Vamps out of Barrow for their repeat 30 day gorge fest.

@Carlos Fernando Ibarra - Yes, but there were obviously TWO types on vamp thirst quenchers, Thick, full strength, for bringing back ashy compatriots, and diet ultra lite, for general bathing, and close up chugging. A girls got to watch her figure after all.

@paladin5150 Hey, um...where'd you go...crap, kind'a need to ask you something. I'll put it here, even tho it's kinda personal. Want your advice, may sound stupid, anyway: I watch thru PrimewireLI. All the links for an ep of Robot Chicken were the same as the previous ep. I left a comment, "all the links below are the same as the previous episode," and checked the box, "About Links." Fifteen minutes later I figured out the links were correct, but the links for the prev ep were incorrect. By that time the links for the ep I left the comment on had been deleted, and my comment'd also been deleted. I messaged a mod who had warned me about posting an outside link in a comment a year ago; I wrote, "I made a mistake about the links on the ep of Robot Chicken." He wrote back that he should've looked closer, and told me not to comment about the links anymore. The next evening I noticed the links had repopulated for the ep, but the duplication of links persisted...and, the ep titles and descriptions were all off by one episode number. When I tried to leave a comment about the titles/descr's the system wouldn't allow it, stating I'd been muted by ykJack (the mod I messaged) for 78 hours for spamming the comments. I messaged him again that I didn't think I violated the rules; I was just trying to bring attention to duplicate links, and that I admitted I made a mistake initially, but that there was still a problem with the links. I also wrote that I respected his dedication and skillz, but that he might've over-reacted by muting me -- and that I couldn't help correct the titles/descr's since I was muted. I also wrote that he'd previously shown his skills by counseling me not to feed the trolls the year before.
He muted me for an additional 650 hours for harassing the mods.
The next night I noticed the titles and descriptions had been corrected, and figured out the links were prolly wrong because the, "Archies Special," was episode zero. I messaged him, "Thank you, or whomever, for correcting the titles and descriptions...and, that the links were still wrong, but that that was a problem the posters or hosting sites would have to correct, that it's something Primewire couldn't correct (and that it was prolly due to an episode zero throwing off the posters by one number." I didn't get any response, and remain muted.
I upsets me, and I feel depressed. I sent the site admin an email asking if there's any appeal process -- that I hadn't violated any of the rules, and asked if they'd read my thread of messages and tell me if I'd harassed the mod (and included screen-shots of the message thread).
what do you think? what should I do? I've looked for another streaming site, but none have the schedule or recent TV links functionality, and the other sites don't have Streamtape or Dood.watch links, which are the only hosts with decent low latency for the neighborhood I live in.
I can still use the site, even if I don't logon, but...I'm just butt-hurt. Should I just admit that's the main problem and wait out my time muted, and avoid the mods afterwards?
Thanks...hope you're okay. Velvet's dropped off also.
Hope you're not both away on secret missions like Anthoney!

@paladin5150 I worked out my differences with Primewire -- to my satisfaction, not with any help from them (him).

I figure the "site mod" is the only one left standing, which is why other's have mentioned his (?) unrepentant acts of punishment. He's stressed AF.
I never felt any sense of community with the other users of Primewire anyway -- it's more of a Fox News crowd.

So, the utility of the site is all I miss, and I really should be handling all that stuff on my own - keeping my own watch list and where I am in a series. I don't really need a calendar page showing me what's on today on that list, but Trakt sort of fills that piece.
So, I use FMOVIES.FAN now - they don't have as many host links, and they don't have accounts, but they also don't have ads. So, no Primewire for me -- and, that is fine, and prolly as it should be.

Again, glad ur back!

A dir poco orrendo. Non ha niente a che vedere con il primo film.
