I remember watching this movie back when it first premiered just because it had Astrid Hadad in it. Back then, as a closeted and impressionable 16-year-old, I didn't like it but I remember being a little _traumatized_ by some scenes [spoiler] mainly Fito being left "vestido y alborotado" as we say in my country [/spoiler]. I rewatched it and I still don't like it, but I value it a little bit more. It's one of the very few Mexican movies that focuses on LGBTQ+ people without making fun of us. Of course, it's full of clichés and tends to try to be "too artsy and too edgy", but it's not that bad. Sure, all the characters needed therapy real bad, but hey, it's México. It's realistic that no one went to therapy.

This is an extended episode of a Mexican soap opera, except boring, and the principal characters are gay. A handful of moments--notably the last five minutes--have the impact they were intended to have but overall this is ineffectual.
