"6 Bullets" is another straight-to DVD action film starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. The film takes the concept of "Taken (2008)" and creates an average action film that is not completely bad, but definately nothing special. If you got nothing to watch and just want to waste a couple of hours with something.."6 Bullets" is a good start.

One of JCVD's better films, IMO. Although this was made well past his prime, and the martial arts fight scenes are pretty limited (I think there's one at the beginning of the story), it still turned out to be a pretty good film. Jean Claude van Damme was never known to be among the most impassioned, dramatic of actors but this role fits him extremely well, much like the emotionless "John Wick" character did for Keanu Reeves. To me, being a washed-up, soulless, haunted ex-tough guy serves van Damme extremely well in _6 Bullets_. While it is, as others have mentioned, almost a generic run-of-the-mill action flick with view surprises, I enjoyed this one very much. Definitely recommended.
