This movie is an Emotional one for all Indians. But the director smartly played with us in imposing his agenda. I am talking about the scene where Paki Army called Indian Army men to not to worry about any trouble. This is simply not a actual fact. The director by this scene shows that Indian Army is more concerned about a cricket match than National Security. All the Indians are not going to buy that garbage.

It's an OK watch if you keep your expectations low. Filmsized story but half decent to watch. Nice to see actual cricketers embedded into the movie as fans :smile:

The 1983 Cricket World without questions is one of the biggest sporting glories of the country and to put it into celluloid is a herculean task. Kabir Khan has delivered something very impressive. He rightfully balances the tears, joys, drama on and off the cricketing pitch with true balance. Ranveer Singh yet again delivers a sparkling performance along with all the supporting characters. Each actor gets their due moments to shine which is brilliant. The music elevates the experience into a richer film altogether. The film first half is average but the second half picks up with the emotional value and hooks you in. Pankaj Tripathi and Jeeva are the standouts among all the others. A satisfying remembrance of a glorious cricketing memory in Indian Cricket.
