This could have been a good Christmas/Hallmark style movie, if only there was good chemistry between the two main characters. Unfortunately that’s not the case here.

Starting Christmas watching (far earlier this year) with a film that is neither great nor bad... it more just exists in the ever growing realm of Christmas films. Nothing offensively bad here but as others have said, the leads lacks chemistry and where there should have been vital moments, e.g. more time spent on the conflict or more time building the blossoming romance, the writer/director forgo that to move things along. I will say though, give me more of Eilidh Loan. She was fantastic.

Great castle and accent. But Brooke is not a good actress and she won't save this movie.
