Entertaining and full of laughs, _Christmas Crush_ is a fun holiday romance. When Addie makes a Christmas wish that her next door neighbor will fall in love with her, it backfires; making a different neighbor fall for her and leading Addie to desperately search for a way to undo her wish. The plot is formulaic and includes all the usual tropes, but the main characters are all quite likable; particularly Cindy Sampson, who plays lead. And while the comedy swings wildly from subtle satire to broad slapstick, a lot of it works (at times in spite of itself). However, try as it might to hide its low-budget, it shows through at times in some of the sets and the limited cast. Yet despite its weaknesses, _Christmas Crush_ ends up being an enjoyable screwball comedy with a good message.
