It's your typical Lifetime Christmas movie. Ben and Em are trying to get married on Christmas Eve. It's a journey story about how the two of them get through the problems, obstacles and glitches when Em tries to get home from a business trip.

A lot of it is sort of an idiot plot and one of the last lines by Tucker, Em's boss, accentuates that. IT's also a bit too talkie with a lot of people sitting around.

There were good things too. Dean Cain played a bit against type as the businessman with a black Viper who takes Em away from her wedding planning. I also loved that the guy that played Santa in 'Case for Christmas' plays the biker 'Big Daddy' with his Elf Angels in this one.

The acting on the whole is okay. Sarah Paulson and Eric Mabius don't have a whole lot of chemistry unfortunately. But the two pairs of parents do and are hilarious. Especially Ben's mother and Em's father.

Unfortunately it's just too predictable and while the acting is okay, the writing is stilted at some points and doesn't flow at all at others. I just kept thinking it would hit its stride at some point, but it just never did.

It was an okay movie, but nothing special by any stretch of the imagination.
