@brito-tiagos So you didn't watched and gave it a review? Cool, that's the most useless comment i've ever seen in this site.

[Netflix] It's difficult to call this sequel/reboot disappointing when the previous one was an exercise in suspense that didn't really work either. The attempt to offer an explanation, however, seems too lazy, with no clear justification for the protagonist's actions. It surprises a cast of wasted actors with some flat and cliché secondary characters, and despite the different context it ends up being extremely boring. It is interesting to broaden our gaze towards other scenarios, but it's a mistake to ask the Pastor brothers to do "The last days" (2013) again.

For the first 30 minutes of this movie, I was super excited by a very interesting take on the world of Bird Box; it expands on a small part of the first movie and deepens the lore quite a bit, giving a unique point of view from the protagonist and introducing religious influence. Unfortunately, as things go sideways for the characters, the plot lapses into generic territory and the focus on what was interesting gets abandoned in favor of a bland take on trauma.

Bloody awful. This is what you get when you mix Netflix and crusty Spanish actors, who can't act to save their lives. Especially that Mario Casas, who has even less range than a piece of wood. Nonsense sequel.

There are some worthwhile moments to be had here, but I couldn't help but feel like the experience was that of a homework assignment due for a class I wanted to drop. Some decent acting by Casas & Campbell, but the slow burn acted as a lullaby so when there was some moments of action I was already half glazed over. I typically enjoy slow burns as well. Fell flat and wasn't nearly as good as the first. 4.1 for me.

The morally conflicted Sebastian turned this into something other than a standard survival film. It was never scary but it was suitably grim.

No wonder why Netflix didn't want to have the cost of broadcasting 10 episodes. This movie is okay, and I'm glad it is not a show.

This parallel world film is a dissapointing reboot and is a wasted opportunity.

My Rating : :star::star: (45/100)

Bird Box : Barcelona is a big bumer in terms of converting a promising plot to an engaging screenplay. Having a strong fanbase from the first part, this film was greenlit by Netflix to get it a notch higher. But the film doesn't even has a single scene which hooks you to it gives you a moment to take back. Mario Casas and Georgina Campbell as criminally underused and are given disposable characters whom you donot even connect with. The writing is leading us to new direction when some folks can see the entity but doesn't necessarily kill themselves. This opens up more possibilities for more spin offs and parallel netflix stories but how far can they stretch unexciting screenplays this time will tell. For now if you dont have anything to watch then you might try this.

The best thing that ever happened to me for once was that I had no expectations about this movie. I tell you it did not disappoint. The more I watched the worse it got. The storyline was just pathetic the acting was OMG terrible. Well the great question of the day. Is it a MUST WATCH? Hell to the No!

You know its from Netflix so don't expect much, but it was better than the original, more tension, better story with the idea of the bad ones. Would watch a third but with more explanation maybe.

I'm not really sure what went down, but all I can say is that it was hella boring—I ended up snoozing through like 80% of the film. What a bummer! We actually enjoyed the first one though.
