AVOID AVOID AVOID. Spare yourself the waste of your life that is this movie. Sloooooooow, mediocre acting, terrible narration style story telling ( the fecking lead actress talks over her own story about the past CONSTANTLY). Honestly this movie represents the reason I have started to watch older movies. Just pure unadulterated shite. A complete waste of time. Easily in the top 10 WORST movies I have ever seen.

There's melodrama there's MELODRAMA, then there's Tyler Perry. This borders on a comedy, it's layed on so thick that at times I almost did a spit-take. 'get the chopper outta here!!' 'GUARD' the usual tropes dialed up to 11, everything about this is ridiculous

Absolute nonsense. First graders have written better scripts than this! For bad movie lovers, however, there is some value in seeing how bad the film gets with its unconvincing twists and turns.

It's a fantástic film

I would recommend this movie to people, I would recommend people to ==**NOT**== waste your time to watch this horrible movie. Sure, some acting was actually great, or at least the best that could be done with the mess that they had to work with, while others can't act worth a damn. The first half of the movie wasn't to bad however relatively slow. The main plot of the story was actually quite good as far as I was concerned [spoiler] and even the twists were good. The whole court part was absolutely ridiculous. [/spoiler] It's such a shame because I really wanted this movie to be fantastic but sadly it was nowhere close. I'm usually one to overlook a lot of things that most people complain about, but this movie just has so many issues that even I had to give it a low rating and say something.
