Jack is a children's author turned crime novelist whose detailed research into the lives of Victorian serial killers has turned him into a paranoid wreck, persecuted by the irrational fear of being murdered. When Jack is thrown a life-line by his long-suffering agent and a mysterious Hollywood executive takes a sudden and inexplicable interest in his script, what should be his big break rapidly turns into his big breakdown, as Jack is forced to confront his worst demons; among them his love life, his laundry and the origin of all fear.

Weird, quirky and good! Dark Comedy about a writer who is absolutely paranoid with the fear of being murdered. It's very unique and interesting story. It's stylish with a mysterious atmosphere. I had good moments of laugh! Simon Pegg was the main reason that took me to see this film and his performance was once again didn't disappointed me, he was great! It might be too odd sometimes but I think it's totally worth seeing!

Considering this was made during the heighday of Simon Peggs comedic work, the first hour of this was disappointing. Pegg overacting is nothing new, and often quite funny, but extending that for so long takes aware from some his charm. Introducing Amara Karan was a good way of offsetting the mood Pegg had set in the first half of the movie, and mostly turned my perspections of this around, while still being light hearted entertainment. All I can say is if you are another big Simon Pegg fan and watch this, persist, it gets better. Although I still don't understand why Tuyet Le played a laundrette lady...

Bad watch, probably won't watch again, and can't recommend unless you're ona Simon Pegg binge or an eccentric writer.

I like Simon Pegg, but this doesn't feel like one of his movies, and maybe that was the point.

It all hinges on Simon Pegg, and for me, he makes it work. _A Fantastic Fear of Everything_ will not be for everyone, indeed, it's darker than even your average horror comedy, but I am happy to have seen it.

_Final rating:★★★ - I liked it. Would personally recommend you give it a go._
