Much better than the second and I think better than the original. A lot more dream sequences with more visual effects. Crazy to see how young Laurence Fishburne looks.

The 3rd film that saved the series after part 2 was horrible. Freddy targets troubled teens that Heather from the first film teaches how to fight him.

This is the first and by far the best of the "MTV era" of the Elm Street movies. I enjoy this one a lot, but it set a bad precedent for the next several Freddy films to come.

The end is just disappointing. That Nancy who teaches everyone how to fight Freddy. Falls for him being disguised as her father and is killed.

Snake Freddy, stop-motion puppet Freddy, TV Freddy, hot nurse Freddy, clean suit Freddy, needle finger Freddy... ***Dream Warriors*** has some of the coolest and fun sequences yet. I like the asylum setting with the mass hysteria among patients, felt like *Cult of Chucky* for a while. Going to the Dream World was a good idea for a sequel, it looked awesome. Nancy's back, Kristen's got some karate moves, Freddy is the coolest he's ever been and he says a lot more funny one-liners which is a must. Amazing practical effects and original kills. The skeleton was so cool. I like this one more than *Freddy's Revenge* and possibly the original?!

The practical & visual effects in this one are so great. The dark comedy gets me right where I like it, and it honestly has to be better than the 1st. :eyes:

To me the best of the sequels are part 3, 4, New Nightmare and Freddie’s Dead. Freddie’s Dead to me is a fun, goofy and trippy movie.
This is the best sequel though since it’s scary, creepy and creative with a great cast.

Wes Craven returns to Elm Street to right the series after its disastrous second outing. In A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, Freddy Krueger preys upon the last remaining Elm Street children after having driven them into a psych ward. Heather Langenkamp and Robert Englund return, and are joined by Patricia Arquette and Laurence Fishburne. The story’s quite good, and is able to develop both the mythology of the series and the characters. Additionally, the visual style of the film works especially well with the dream world themes that the film plays upon. A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors is a terrifying installment of the series that’s both entertaining and frightening.

This is the most rewatchable of the series; creative kills, a fun ride, great over-the-top performance by Robert Englund and all of that 80's cheese. Easily the best of the sequels.

Average. Better story line, dreams and cast than the previous part but still way off being as good as the original. I can begin to understand the praise this particular part gets, It was just a shame that Nancy was the one who was tricked at the end after she had practically saved everyone. Not bad, 5/10.

Freddy is back and now the victims are in a mental institution. The deaths feel even more creative, and Freddy is starting to develop even more of a sense of humor, but it doesn’t feel too corny (yet). Patricia Arquette is great in this too.
