Horrible acting, seems like an uber liberal movie filled with leftist weirdness and gay and rich yenta stereotypes magnified. Don't waste another brain cell reading this review let alone watching the movie. Seems like someone's parents were rich with connections to help their kids make yet another dopey movie. No laughs, no humor, no romance. The flaming husband prospect in no way can be passed of as straight or bi to make this believable. It seems like another gay or LGBT movie that has to push the flamboyancy to the extreme making it cheesy. No spoilers here other than the fact the movie stinks. The one other review here seems like it was written by a cast member or bestie. I've said my peace, you've been warned.

A pleasant little film. 'A Simple Wedding', in all honesty, isn't that funny a production, it didn't make me laugh out loud once really. However, it's actually a sweet romance story rather than a flat out comedy. Tara Grammy (Nousha) and Christopher O’Shea (Alex) have solid chemistry, none of their dialogue or anything feels awkward which is nice. Shohreh Aghdashloo, who I remember from TV's 'The Punisher', works ideally in her role as Ziba. The rest of the cast are well chosen, to be fair. It's nothing special, but I found this film rather charming.
