It's a decent rom-com. But I'll probably never watch it again.

The movie romanticises Vietnam, similar to Emily in Paris, but does showcase some authentic aspects such as Vietnamese food and bargaining culture. However, the movie falls short in showcasing more of Vietnam's rich culture and cities.

so bad but amazing to have on in the background and occasionally get a view of gorgeous food or the main hot dude

Way better than expected.
Definitely a solid romcom

Typical Chick-flick. Same old same old formula. Nothing new other than the location - which is the only redeeming part of the movie.
4/10

It's cheesy, but I enjoyed it. Loved a few quotes Sinh says during the film. It definitely tugs at a traveler's heart. The setting was great, but wasn't as immersive as it could have been in the cities they traveled to and the cities didn't make much of an impression because time was limited in each. I mostly remember the village setting, but the others are fading.

Cheesy and predictable. Best parts were the scenery around Vietnam and the clothing. And the cuter guy. The rest of it was, unfortunately, meh.

Predictable but cute
Happy to see teenage icon Racahel Leigh Cook back in action! And 'Sinh' was indeed a great choice for the love interest :smirk:
