The beginning was good but the second half took a weird turn. Overall, it was pretty good.

I really like the first act, thought it had a creepy vibe and wasn't sure where it was going... unfortuantely neither did the filmmakers. The final act is a pretentious nonsensical mess, have no clue what the intent was and worse it wasn't entertaining in any fashion.

Stylish and unnerving at times but it didn't grip me all the way to the end.

Stylish Greek mythological indie horror with amazing tension and lots of weird vibes. It had me hooked from the beginning with it's style it looks like it was filmed on actual film and I love the synth music, the rustic chalet and the color palette it looks so good. The acting is great from both leads and I loved the psychological aspects. It started strong with a great intro and there's never really a dull moment throughout. It kept me guessing and guessing what the hell was happening and I have to admit by the end I still wasn't sure what was happening. You could probably disect the movie and find some meaning hidden within another meaning which is interesting and makes for an interesting rewatch. The Greek mythology stuff was chef's kiss and everything happening in the forest was pure insanity. Absolutely recommend this one it's got some cool looking blood, it's quite unpredictable and what a wild third act!

I had very high hopes for this movie and felt they would be rewarded. The first 2/3 of the film are very interesting, especially as a delves into a modern version of the ancient Greek mythology around the Furies. However the movie failed to stick the landing.

A stylish, bloody, surreal, phantasmagorical, uniquely enchanting cat-and-mouse horror thriller inspired by Greek mythology. This is without a doubt Travis Stevens' best work to date. People compare this with Hulu's Fresh since both films shares the same romantic-getaway-becomes-sinister premise, but I gotta be honest, this thing is on another level. It's a lot more stylish and actually feels like a horror film. It plays up a constant sense of unease perfectly and isn't afraid to surprise. The amount of close ups and shots of dark forests really makes you feel confined and uneasy. I love Josh Ruben so much and he's simply fantastic in this. This would make a great double feature with _Scare Me_ which is also on Shudder.
