Very interesting movie, good actors. I liked Iver's loyalty with his captain, was a truly friendship. One helping each other. I've never heard about that biography, but the movie hold my attention and I liked of the end of it. I recommend that movie.

An honest adventure film in the ice, based on Ejnar Mikkelsen's autobiography. If you like the genre, it deserves the view, but forget it otherwise. Decent acting of the two protagonists, including co-writer Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and the young Joe Cole.

I went into this thinking it was going to be a bit boring but it drew me in to the story and their bravery, and not so much bravery. Overall it began a 6/10 and ended an 8/10 don’t give up on it.

The takeaway from Against the Ice is that not all CGI is bad — which doesn’t necessarily mean that some of it is good, only that some examples are comparatively worse than others. There is a scene in this movie that will remind you of The Revenant, except that the bear in Alejandro González Iñ More
