Very interesting documentary, that has a lot of different interesting and varied topics explored. It is very interesting to explore the impact that globalisation, different work regulations, culture and automation have on a microeconomic company. I thought that the directors did a fantastic job of keeping the film unbiased and not providing any clear judgement of their opinions.

In my opinion, American Factory is a politically driven documentary. With that being said, I also believe that the film is directed in a way that avoids lopsidedness towards one side or another. The film gives you an opportunity to see the harsh reality of (some) international factory work. When those same methods come to the United States it’s met with a work force willing to fight for their rights. I applaud the directors for showing multiple angles to the complex world of factory work.

Well made documentary. Interesting to see viewpoints from both sides. Happy, hopeful, sad, embarrassing, thought provoking. Good to show to someone who always says "we need more factory jobs back in America"

You always read about "cultural differences" as being something that must be overcome when dealing with international projects, but that language always felt so abstract to me; if anything, it seemed like more of an excuse as to why things might be delayed rather than a real problem.
