As the first American Pie movie without the core cast, this one is bound to split the audience. If you like the hijinks, and general franchise references and characters, it’s easy to have a good time with this one. Is it as good as the original trilogy? Nope. Also not the best of the spin offs, but I enjoyed it. Rating: 3/5 - 7.5/10 - Worth Watching

Picking up where the theatrical films left off, American Pie Presents Band Camp continues the misadventures. A few series alum make cameos, but for the most part the film tries to be its own thing. The story follows Stifler’s younger brother Matt as he attempts to become the new “Stifmeister” by pulling a prank on the high school band, but when he’s caught he ends put being send off to Band Camp. It’s a pretty generic and uninspired plot, and mostly relies on stereotypes. As with the rest of the series, the comedy’s based mostly on gross-out humor and sex antics, but there’s no heart or sincerity to the characters. American Pie Presents Band Camp is a formulaic screwball comedy that doesn’t really add much to the franchise.

The little brother of the character Stifler from the theatrical films goes to band camp, wreaking havoc and causing mayhem, because the film makers decided you're too stupid to require laughs from your comedy.
