The life of American woman Mildred Gillars and her lawyer, who struggles to redeem her reputation. Dubbed “Axis Sally” for broadcasting Nazi propaganda to American troops during World War II, Mildred’s story exposes the dark underbelly of the Third Reich's hate-filled propaganda machine, her eventual capture in Berlin, and subsequent trial for treason against the United States after the war.

Kind of my Genres all rolled into one. So having seen some really dismissive reviews of this movie I went into it with an open mind. I personally found it pretty enjoyable. Not up amongst the very best courtroom dramas, nor the very best stories about WW2, but enjoyable all the same.

If you enjoy true stories then this is a good movie for you. Enjoyed it very much and all you need to say is Al Pacino.

Al Pacino is one of the greatest actors of his generation and maybe even of the entire movie industry from start to current. His portrayal is amazing and it's a story that needs to be told. We cannot suffer traitors, including females.
