Yet another "supernatural entity harasses family" film, except this one was really boring. It felt way longer than an hour and a half and could have honestly ended at multiple points in the story. I've seen few movies that actually felt this dragged out while still being under 2 hours. Lots of cliche jumpscares, a couple of one-dimensional characters thrown in, combined with the most damning thing of all: the movie just made no sense. There was no coherent explanation of the malevolent force or who/what it was, how/why it was doing its thing, none of the exposition that usually happens in paranormal/supernatural horror. Any explanations given made no sense with what the malevolent spirit was doing, or were quickly given a DIFFERENT explanation next scene. The end 10 minutes were a shoddy mess. I'll say one positive thing about this movie: the ghost hunter lady was a pretty good actress. And that's not saying much.
