The follow-up to "Anatomy" follows the usual sequel rules. The film is bigger, obviously more expensive, and louder. This time, the Antihippocrats are engaging in all sorts of unethical shenanigans in Berlin rather than Heidelberg. And the setting is also one of the many reasons why "Anatomy 2" is a much weaker film than its predecessor. It's much more generic, even though there are definitely some good moments. For example, the opening sequence is effective right off the bat. And also, the general theme of wanting to create an "Übermensch" is interesting at first.

Things quickly fall apart when leading man Barnaby Metschurat takes the stage. He's just not nearly as compelling as Franka Potente was in the first movie. I also miss the clear horror aspect. This time it's more lame sci-fi thriller than slasher. The rather tepid dialogue doesn't help, and boredom dominates in the end. In addition, the silly plot stretched my patience to its limits. Only the German all-star cast and the competent direction keep the film barely watchable in the end.

kinda pretty boring!! i used my remote control more than watching ^_^
also muddled incoherent plots... the complete movie somehow makes no sense at all °!° horror or thriller factor = ==zero==
in no way to compare with the movie "Anatomie" (2000)
please don't waste your time with it ... you might haven't missed anything worth
