I wasn't a fan of the first one, but this one was even worse.

couldnt stop laughing, i dont understand why people would expect something else from a comedy movie... i mean there are comedies with forced jokes that dont make it but i found this really good, but some people dont get the taste of irony so it gets hated...

That was so dull, i nearly gave up half way through.

I was warned (clearly by idiots) that the fight at the end was the worst part but the rest was good, and while i do agree that part was stupid, compared to the garbage beforehand it ended up being the highlight of the movie.


Such a shame as i loved the original movie.

3/5 - A failed attempt to recreate the first movie, however if you love Brick he has some good moments in this one, to add to his already big list of funny moments! ;)

Amazing sequel. As with any comedy of this type, there are some idiotic parts, but on the whole, fantastic comedy. Kept me laughing.

Way better than the first one but still only made me laugh only for handful of times. The plot wasn’t cringe like the first one and was interesting. The cameos were fun.

As terrible as the first movie, if not even worse if we consider that it’s essentially the same exact gags rehashed a decade too late. The satirical overtones in Ron Burgundy’s news are sharper and slightly more prominent, but other than that, I would hardly define this as a step forward.

Ron Burgundy is back to deliver the news in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. The story follows Ron Burgundy’s journey into 24-hour news when he joins GNN, and how his quest for ratings turns news into infotainment. Most of the original cast returns and they slip back into their characters quite easily. The style of comedy is also more of the same, and gets even sillier and more over-the-top; however it doesn’t work as well this time. Additionally, it’s pretty obvious that the film is repeating all of the same beats from the first film. Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues isn’t as fresh or as funny as the original, but it still delivers plenty of laughs.

Not as good as the original but still funny.

Anchorman 2 is a good sequel. It’s nowhere near as good as the first but it surprised me. It starts off very hilarious and then sort of slows down and takes some interesting turns and choices. The jokes are great the beginning as I said started of hilarious it dips for a little then comes right back up. The plot is good it’s interesting and while sort of feels like the first at times there is a lot of unexpected moments. The acting is great and the cast is stacked. It’s amazing to see the news team back together. Steve Carrell is just as hilarious as ever. It’s directed well by Adam McKay as well. The end is also a great happy ending. SPOILER ALERT: That fight scene is just completely insane Harrison Ford becomes a werewolf, So many celebrities, call backs to the original, and explosions. SPOILER OVER. Overall it’s a wacky but good sequel.
