A pretty moderate generic thriller with a very predictable course and also one that's full of clichés. The factor 'originality' also does not apply at all.

The fain and indeed simple 'dime a dozen' story does not amount to much, and as mentioned earlier, is also full of clichés (as in; one after another). Because of this, the course is predictable and boring and makes the first half of the movie almost unbearable to watch, despite it's beautiful views, main actresses and sometimes cinematography. But nothing of these points makes the story hardly interesting or exciting, surprises are nowhere to be found and the plot you have to guess, you can see coming from a mile away.

Only once the second half of the movie started, the story decides to kick off with one of the leads getting kidnapped. The search that follows is doing very little to actually pull us in closer or created some kind of emotional depth. After we get every twist and turn you're expecting since the movie kicked off, we get a bittersweet ending.

Visually the film looks nice, mostly due to the landscapes and location, Amber Heard and Odette Annable are both solid actresses who surprised me more than often, they try their best in this film but to no avail. The fact that a likeable actor as Karl Urban is in it, but has the emotional range of roadkill certainly doesn't help the movie. All in all this is a very, very mediocre film that is only worth watching if you're a big fan of either of the actresses.

Passable enough suspense-thriller made watchable for Amber Heard and Odette Yustman (now Odette Annable) not so much for their acting skills... In all seriousness, it's a short movie with nothing terribly memorable. **2.75/5**
