As someone who was intrigued by the premise of the movie, I came in not knowing really what to expect. Now, after my initial viewing of the film, I can say that the acting is good, with the main female lead portraying someone with emotional turmoil really well. However, my goodwill towards the film degrades when discussing the story/plot. But, for some context, this is a film that is oriented in a realistic way, trying to follow the journey of one girl into the ideologies and infighting of Antifa, with the peaceful and more violent factions colliding into each other. Her own radicalization was intriguing in a way, but I found it too quick, and a bit strange and not explained properly. Furthermore, for nearly 2 hours, I would say that a good 30 minute chunk was pretty dull in action or plot. Overall, I found the film to have an intriguing premise, but the execution was flawed, yet the acting and music at least made me feel tense and worried about the characters, which shows that a weak plot can't hold back the performances and good work of the actors/actresses in this film. However, of course, many will dismiss this film as some leftist fever dream. I get that aspect of it, and it's undeniable. But, personally, even though I am not a radical leftist, I found the film fair, and gave it a 6.
