Sort of noir-ish, but without the twists and turns (and darkness) found in earlier examples. This one has some odd editing choices that muddle the narrative slightly, but it's a fun movie thanks largely to Mitchum and Simmons. Always love a downbeat ending, especially in movies of the era where it tends to be rare.

Great film noir movie. Go go with the angel face, it has more danger than piranhas in a bucket.
