Ally Morgan is a workaholic ER doctor struggling for work-life balance with boyfriend, Josh. On the night they breakup. Ally is miserable alone before a chance encounter with handsome barista, Gabe leads her to fulfill a Christmas bucket list of fun activities she never would have done on her own. Ally's best friend and fellow ER doctor, Dawn has never seen Ally so engaged outside of work and is rooting for a Gabe-Ally relationship. Now, the saintly Maureen must redirect Gabe's heartfelt intentions if Josh and Ally have any chance at reconciliation this Christmas.

She is SO BUSY she has no time to spend with her boyfriend and they breakup because of it. Then she goes home and has nothing but free time and with nothing to do she sits on the couch bored and starts rearranging pillows and all the furniture! Then she goes into the bathroom and thinks about if she should change her hair. The next day she is visiting old people at the retirement center and helping kids with arts and crafts. She never thinks to call the boyfriend and say "a whole lot of free time just opened up for me!" And don't forget the scene where she has found time to spend the whole day with some other guy and go Christmas tree shopping and bake cookies with him! TOTALLY STUPID MOVIE!

I found it cute and refreshing, even if there were some moments that weren't directed and thought out well with the props and scenery and script. It had a cute little twist to it as well.
