Woeful. 'Armed Response' is, simply, a total mess. The entire plot makes little to no sense, while the casting, cinematography and dialogue are just as bad. Some of the effects are OK-ish and there are two decent deaths. Otherwise, it all makes for an insufferable 93 minutes. They attempt to mesh horror and thriller vibes but it just doesn't work, I didn't feel thrilled once and the horror is set up so poorly; despite a couple of alright ideas for the latter. Wesley Snipes is the all-star name attached to this, yet is bemusingly put into a back-up role behind Dave Annable. Why would you not utilise Snipes as your lead? WWE Studios have done far better. It only avoids the lowest rating from me due to there, somehow, being worse films out there.

This movie was very dissapointing even though I wasn't expecting that much. I mostl watched it because of Wesley Snipes but he wasn't very good and wasn't even the lead actor (at best co-lead). I fear that Snipes might be runing his image by taking such crappy roles with such poor direct More

I'm always pleasantly surprised when a movie I was expecting to be a different genre takes a decidedly Horror turn. This is where the pleasant surprises end for Armed Response.
