Great storyline, a great hero and a great villain, super diverse cast, a stunning underwater world with an amazing princess. I loved it.

I simply love this movie. Ever since I first saw it as a kid in cinemas I was captured by its sense for adventure and mystery. It's quite a different Disney film and definitely nothing for younger children as there is a oot of action and also violence. The story, animation and also especially the soundtrack are beautiful and brilliant.

Just watched it yesterday for the second time. First time was ten years ago as a kid. Found the DVD in a box. Must say, I'm going to keep it! It's a pretty different Disney film, doesn't really feel like a 'Disney' film in fact.
Atlantis is super cool to be honest.

holy moley, this movie is gorgeous. I like to think about what films like Luca could have been if they had the same passion and story as this one… maybe one day again.

Disappointed in this for a Disney movie. I loved Michael J Fox voicing Milo but the film itself just felt very bland. Didn't keep me interested.

I love this animated entry, a Disney non-musical feature film that’s perfectly paced, funny, and reverential to every trope you’ve come to expect. Love it. Love.

One of the bests of Disney. It would make you feel like you are 10 and reading Julio Verne again.

Feels like a Disney animated version of Star Gate but with Atlantis.

If the plot was just a bit better this would be an all timer. The animation is great with some breathtaking scenes, good cast of characters and the general dialogue is fine. Great film to put on when you stay awake to watch Wrestle Kingdom cause the matches ain't appealing but you like watching stuff with friends. It's also quite unique from most Disney films which is something to appreciate. Easy watch, and so close to something incredible.

I had previously heard a fair bit of hype down the years regarding 'Atlantis: The Lost Empire' and now, finally, I can understand why. It is very good. My favourite part of it is the animation which is exquisite, especially across acts one and two with the great amount of detail. The characters are cool, while the premise is pretty fascinating.

Michael J. Fox is a superb cast as Milo, he is fantastic in the lead role. Honestly, none of the other voices stand out to me but that's not always a bad thing - especially in this film. There are no huge individual performances, away from Fox, but they all bounce off each other nicely.

The plot is very interesting, brought to life brilliantly by James Newton Howard's terrific score. It's not near the top of my Disney animated favourites, just through process of elimination really, but it certainly isn't majorly far off. It's a fun experience, one I'd recommend you see for yourself if you haven't done so already.

It's fine but nowhere near the level of the other 90s Disney movies.
