I've seen this on Netflix & the terrestrial channel Comet. It's an expected tripe with all the trappings & tropes of a monster/disaster/horror film not to reach the cineplex w/ an unrecognizable cast. One annoying trend is there are 3 actresses in swimsuits who take up their screen time almost entirely in a Jacuzzi. & the title looks like it originated from a line-of-sight idea viewing a Colorado vs. San Jose game on ESPNNews. If I remember, it has a low rating on IMDb.com & is only a few votes from qualifying for the Bottom Rated List. So if you're registered on IMDb & haven't voted for "Avalanche Sharks," mark it 1/10 stars & put it among "Manos: The Hands of Fate," "The Hottie & the Nottie," & "Saving Christmas."

It could have been so much more...sharks in the snow...I know it is not the only time this has been attempted, and despite the obvious potential, they all seem to miss.

This one is another miss. It kept me engaged long enough to get to the end, but still don't understand some parts (like what was Hiro doing??)

Anyway, one for enthusiasts only
