Oddball hot dog vendor Albert is shocked to find himself becoming the bizarre muse of enigmatic NYC photographer Ivan Worthington. It's a ridiculous movie, as expected, but very true to life in the first half. You have a guy who is used because of his demeanour, nature and social standing. There are people using and feeding off each other in this whether they put a friendly face on that or not, so it's a glimpse of human nature. Photography is featured a lot as integral to the plot but also as satire on the culture of photography and modelling, as our main character succumbs to delusion and fantasy which is a catalyast. The second half is a more conventional sick twisted fun horror. Not the smartest or best movie ever but it's unique and comfortable in it's skin. Funny at times. A good indie movie.
