Sufferin’ succotash, Bah, Humduck!: A Looney Tunes Christmas is a halfhearted and uninspired telling of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. In this adaptation Daffy Duck plays a cold-hearted and abusive department store owner who’s visited by the Ghosts of Christmas in an attempt to redeem him. The Looney Tunes characters are horribly miscast in their roles, and it all seems extremely contrived. The comedy is also poorly written, consisting mostly of cheap jokes and mindless slapstick. Bah, Humduck!: A Looney Tunes Christmas is an incredibly lazy and insincere holiday film that does a disservice to Dickens’ work.
