Not bad, I guess. There were a lot of weird choices in this movie.

Kind of spoilery:
The music in this movie was garbage. A whole lot of hardcore techno stuff. It sucked, and threw a lot of moments that might have been good.
The opening credits style intro of all the characters was nuts. It was just a montage of people failing and getting caught. These people are then meant to be the protagonists of the movie.
Batman causes a lot of people to die, on purpose in this movie. He doesn't pull the trigger himself, but good people would be alive if it wasn't for him.
I thought it was weird Waller chose just then to do the mission, considering she could have waited until Batman had taken care of the bomb stuff, and not risked destroying Gotham to cover up her mistakes.

I did like some the interactions and dynamics of the characters in the Suicide Squad, where they fought and argued, but it still made sense for the personalities. Deadshot was a little too "Badass" for my likings, but whatevs.

The voice acting in this was pretty good actually. Kevin Conroy is back. Troy Baker actually does a pretty good Joker. Hearing Starfire be Harley was odd at first, but I got used to it. And everyone else was fine (but not really stand out).

The movie seemed okay. Better than some of the other DC animations lately, but not that great.

2023-06 It was alright. Deadshot played a much bigger role than i expected.

Another great animated feature from DC. If only more of the live-action films were as good.

The story here is pretty straight forward: The Suicide Squad has been tasked with extracting The Riddler from Arkham. That's really it.
What _Assault on Arkham_ brings is non-stop action, great fights, laughs, and some yummy moments with Harley Quinn, Killer Frost, and Poison Ivy. Yahtzee!
Not a whole lot to say here. If you like comic books, PG-13 animation or action movies, in general, there is a lot to like.

I tried to watch Suicide Squad Hell to Pay first as my introduction into animated DC... and all I have to say is since I worked may way around back to others, and watched this one, too, I realized not only is this how the animated Suicide Squad should be - and it's done SO well. Captures the comedy, but does the action well, and the characters aren't 1-dimensional. Hell To Pay was basically the complete opposite of all of that. I couldn't understand the rave reviews. This has much better writing, dialogue, and voice acting. Really all around better. The voice of the joker was perfect - maybe not Harley Quinn. I am one of the few who did like the later live action one though ‍♂

Love the joke with the red wires at the end - classic.

I don't know why they didn't name it as "Suicide Squad", Batman should be more of a supporting cast, but it's even more prominent. The Joker too, amazing how everything always revolves around him (but also, one of the best villains ever created...). Now, did they really need to sexualize women so much? Killer Frost and Harley are basically boobs, semi-nude and thigh strikes (the classic). And well, whoever played the Arkham games knows who ends up alive. Other than that, the movie is pretty cool but it couldn't hold me very.

I agree with the reviews... Shud have been named a Suicide Squad movie.

Much more entertaining and way smarter than the live-action Suicide Squad movie. Not without some minor problems, but good action-packed fun with a great sense of black humour.

This is supposedly a Batman movie but it's really a Suicide Squad movie with a side of Batman. The whole movie followed the suicide squad and I would have picked a suicide squad movie if that was what I wanted to see. Also, the ending wasn't that great either. It was all about all over the place and in the end not as good as I was hoping for. Also, random sex that had little to nothing to do with the overall plot.

Much better than the trash Suicide Squad.The plot was actually good and I was rooting for the Squad , which the live action movie clearly failed to do.
It had batman , it had joker , but inspite that it was a suicide Squad movie. An achievement, I'd say...

I would not call this a Batman movie, but a movie that contains Batman. The rest is ok, Joker and Harley are cool. Characters like Captain Boomerang or King Shark do absolutely nothing for me.

If you want to see Suicide Squad done right, then Batman: Assault on Arkham is for you. My first time trying to watch it 2 yrs ago, I didn't give it a chance for some reason. I think I didn't like the animation then but it's really not bad.
However Batman: Assault on Arkham is one of the best Batman movies. Troy Baker surprisingly is the best Joker voice since Mark Hamill. I wouldn't mind more from him if Hamill is done now.
Harley Quinn is pretty hot. If you think Margot Robbie is too hot or slutty looking in the new movie. Then see this movie where she even distracts guys by going topless. Oh and she has Deadshot help her scratch an itch, if you know what I mean.
Deadshot is a little heroic. So Will Smith actually saying "time to save the world" as Deadshot in Suicide Squad, annoys me less after seeing this movie.
