Not a great Batman movie. Not even a good Batman movie. I'm sure plenty of animated Batman fans will enjoy this, I however did not.

How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!

A frivolous hodgepodge of 1970s martial arts films, spy films, Bruce Lee and the caped crusader. It’s far terrible, especially considering the source material. Worth watching, just don’t expect any real tone of Batman at all.

I only watch this for the lead actor voicing Batman. I dozed through half of it. I found the story to be very basic with little depth.

One of the better DC animated movies lately, and one that actually takes a risk and tries something new. Although truth be told, you could take Batman out of this movie entirely and it would still work. When he finally appears in costume, it's actually quite laughable.

It's a movie that relies heavily on martial arts, so fortunately the animation is quite good during the fight scenes. The characters move realistically and fluidly, for the most part. It doesn't seem like they skimped on the animation budget this time around.

This was Bad with a capitol B. Seriously don't waste your time.

- It would have made ZERO difference to the plot if Bruce hadn't showed up as Batman
- Deodorant flamethrower?
- That cheesy stone trick that made that King Kobra look like a clown, so clumsy comedy movie trick.

Feels like Batman in a Bruce Lee wannabe 70’s film meets Adult Swim meets James Bond. Plus, by the time Batman is used you have forgotten this is a Batman film.
It’s mostly a Bruce Wayne movie.

Not gonna lie, I expected this movie to be hot garbage; to be another boring fast food DC animated movie that I'd watch once and never think about again. Well, it kind of went like that, except for the part of it being "boring". It was actual quite entertaining. The 2nd half kind of loses its cool and just goes wild, but the first half is really solid. Its production values also aren't anything amazing, but that's expected from this 1h20min DCAU movies.

Also,
this is not a Batman movie. There's barely any Batman in it, and Bruce is a secondary character
.

@magnumopus27 Yeah, that's pretty much how I felt. I didn't expect much of this, but it was actually pretty entertaining. Batman is definitely secondary, but fortunately the other characters were quite interesting, and I'd love to see more of this version of them in the future. Shiva has always been compelling as someone who can beat Batman in a fight, and Bronze Tiger has a lot of potential, especially considering his role in the Suicide Squad comics.

I really like that they tried something different with this one. I enjoyed the 70s kung-fu exploitation vibe they went with, and I'd love to see them try to tackle some other genres in the future.

Too much 70s vibe, too much James Bond, too much kung-fu and not enough Batman.

Instead of making an homage to everyone and everything why not just make a good Batman movie?

I was not a fan of this one at all. It would of been cool if they would incorporated all of batman's characters into the 70's themed movie. There are much better batman dc animated movies out there.

All, and I do mean ALL of the "korn" of a 70s,Saturday matinee flick. Shades of Leon Kennedy, Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris and the rest of Kung Fu master class. And somehow, they were able to make the music in this movie even MORE "korny" (yes, with a "K").
