I REALLY don't get why most people didn't like it. In my opinion it really worked quite neatly

Yeah I just watched it and it actually wasn't that bad. In fact it was good, for the most part.

I don't get it. People hated this movie but liked the Capt. America: Civil War! Wow, I just don't understand how?

I rated a 7, could be higher but I agree with most people about the film's presentation ie choppy editing and use of CGI effects. I saw some better CGI 25 years ago in Jurassic Park. However that being said the overall story was great; the last 30 minutes of the movie the most epic.

A two and a half hours boring, depressing mess. In short, Zack Snyder.

And the dream sequences take more screen time then the actual BvS fight. Who thought this was a good idea?

I totally agree, but the actual fight between Superman and Batman was actually very good.

Yeah Man of Steel I said had too many dream sequences. So in this film Snyder added unnecessary dream sequences and visions.

Snyder needs to go. Replace him with the director of Tron Legacy.

He's awful. He's playing the part like he's in a Joel Schumacher Batman movie. He's the only bad thing about each trailer so far.
And yeah after seeing the movie as well. He is a douche.

@liveryoshi Honestly, I thought he played an interesting villain, but he would have been a lot better if he didn't have the Lex Luthor name

Epicness defined. The movie is everything a comics fan would want. Yes, it is the first comic book movie that was actually made for the fans of the comics. Eisenberg's take on Luthor is spot on, Affleck as Batman is plainly brutal, and awesome. Gadot's little development was enough for us to see the Amazonian Warrior in it's full glory. Cavill delivered an amazing performance as a real conflicted Superman.

Too long, often boring, dark atmosphere and more like an psycho-drama-thriller than adventure-action-sci-fi movie. I expected more and was a little bit disappointed from this movie. I was really sure to give it 10 points score but I can't give it more than 7 and that's only for the final battle and Wonder Woman, otherwise it would be 6. There are two B v S scenes and that's really not much for the movie called Batman v Superman.

And the end with 10 mins funeral...well...another cliché we saw too many times. We know he cannot die because of another movies and series and yet we have to watch 10 minutes funeral...why?
And what about Lex and Crypton ship? The most-advanced tech inside the ship and you can access the system with the Zod skin on your fingers? No other bio-metrics check? With all that technology? WTF?

I believe we fans deserve more than this.

Ships still there why is that a point? So what the "security" isn't more advanced, why would it be? Why would it be? I kinda see what your saying about the fight scene, would have been nice if they battled much more, perhaps in a Batman as Lex type of role, without us knowing Lex was actually manipulating Batman until the end. But Kryptonite is a rare material, so that wouldn't be too practical. Oh yea, to my one and only point I wanted to make, Krypton, dude. Get it right, it's on the freaking periodic table among the inert gasses, far right colomn. I will never talk Superman with someone who can't spell Krypton. My spell check even fixes it for me. You are not a Superman fan, not a comic fan, you are not someone that should be reviewing this movie.

As for the funeral, there was two, one for Superman, one for Clark Kent. Try paying attention before you take a crap on a scene. Lex is in jail, getting his hair cut, and right where he needs to be to meet the future members of the Legion of Doom. I can tell you really are a noob to the JL.

OK, it's the best movie ever and thus gets 7/10 on IMDB and 68% on trakt... Sorry for the Krypton, wasn't sure what's right spelling. If that makes me not a fan then OK, I'm not going to argue with you on this. Maybe I'm not as fan as you but I love comic movies, I like superman hero and I was excited about Man of Steel which is one of my favorite movies. But that doesn't mean I will be OK with a bad movie and BvS is a bad movie. At least for me.
And about the ship's security, I believe you meant it as a joke, right?
About the funeral. Thanks for the info about Clark, didn't notice, but again what's the point? We know from other movies and tv series they both live after this event so what's the point of the funeral?

Maybe you could clarify something for me about the movie.

Why didn't they just put Superman's body in the spaceship like Lex did with General Zod, from my understanding, so correct me if im wrong here, Zod's metamorphosis was down to the introduction of Lex's blood.

From memory the ship was not that badly destroyed, further more is the TV show Gotham part of the lineage of this DC Universe? if so then they messed up badly by not sticking with the characters from the show.

The visions of the future where from an *Alternative* timeline; one where Superman is an evil dictator or a lieutenant for Darkside since there are parademons and the huge omega symbol.
The Flash [from the alternative TL] was possibly trying to deliver a message to this TL Bruce Wayne through his dreams (?).
IDK, they felt a little out of place.

Thank you for making porn for all of my senses, and for taking me on an emotional rollercoaster.
And for making me fall in love with Gal Gadot.
And for awakening the part of me I thought I had lost.
All in all, critics are too simple minded to understand the epic scale of this movie and all hidden elements in it.
Cinematography, acting, music, effects, plot, and easter eggs are incredibly well done and I will see it at least 2 more times in cinema.

For those concerned with critics' opinions - don't be. Just go to the theatre, forget about everything and let the movie consume you completely.

Watch the director's cut! It's longer but fills many plot holes and makes the movie flow better.

Batman v Superman The Ultimate Edition is far superior to the theatrical release. Take a bathroom break. Line up your snacks. Settle in for a three-hour film experience that is a worthy successor to "Man of Steel."

In my own personal opinion, and I know a lot of people disagree on this one, and I don't know why but I'm gonna say it, I LOVED the movie, it had everything I wanted to see, it had the batman I always wanted to see, Superman's amazing as always, wonder woman stole most of the show, overall, the movie deserves more reviews, it was DC heaven.
