A French _Rain Bonhomme_.

This one is hard for me to critique objectively. I lost my father a month ago and I've been handling it rather well, I think, but occasionally waves of grief rise like a tide and overwhelm me.

Well, this film is about a funeral director who befriends a delivery man / philosopher with cerebral palsy. (For those keeping representation score, Alexandre Jollien--the actor who plays the role--is a philosopher who was born with cerebral palsy.)

Well, the funeral director reminded me of the one at my dad's funeral so I spent most of the film guy-crying (which consists of silently swallowing tears, although occasionally one or two of them escape).

Apart from this personal connection, the film is a tender tear-jerker (for everyone, not just those of us with dead dads) that doesn't push any boundaries but hits all its marks inside the limits it's drawn.
