It is my favourite Disney but there are mistakes such as the characters being cursed for 10 years therefore it means the Prince then was 11 years old. It does not compute as the torn portrait in his bedroom shows an adult and the 10 year curse is supposed to end at his 21st .birthday .

Watching the multi award winning Beauty and the Beast after all these years was a real treat. It's as touching now as it was when it was first released 20 years ago, and the 3D special edition is simply gorgeous. The 10 months it took to remaster was worth every minute.

When it was released in 1991 I was working as a projectionist at a small cinema and watched it many times, the songs becoming ingrain, but I can't now imagine watching it, along with the 3D Special Edition of the Lion King, any other way.

The 3D, supervised by director and chief creative officer at Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios John Lassiter (Toy Story, A Bugs Life, Toy Story 2, Cars), is masterful. The depth in many sequences feel as if you could just step into them.

Beauty and the Beast is a Disney classic that stands the test of time.

I absolutely adore this film , one of my all-time favourites. The animation is breathtakingly beautiful, Belle as a character is entirely relatable, she is the first "princess" who is genuinely intelligent and admires reading. She is a role model to all young girls.

A classic. It has great music and a good story. Not the best of Disney in the 90s but very good.

Such a beautiful film full of rich and complex characters. Belle's provincial look (and life!), interest in books, selfless love for her father and unwavering courage are all character traits that would be transferable to young, impressionable minds. One of a select few Disney heroines I am proud to promote as a role model.

Beast is so beautifully constructed with his rough exterior, male pride and reclusive lifestyle. The thick shell of armour he creates to protect himself is torn away when Belle challenges him intellectually and emotionally. As a woman, we ask for nothing more than that - which for me, made him such a perfect Disney Prince.

Gaston, Maurice and Lumiere were perfect alongside beast, accentuating the fact that he was a little of each character - balancing his personality and making him a more well rounded and believable character.

This film will always hold a special place in my heart and I thoroughly enjoy every moment.

I've seen this beautiful movie for the first time when I was a young girl in the cinema theatre, and I loved it. Bella was the first "Disney Princess" I was able to relate with. After so many years it is a wonderful experience to see the Special Edition, amazing work in the aimation and the story is as touching as ever.

I only watched this because of Jordan Peterson. What an amazing story it tells. It is so much deeper than it might seem to be but also it can also talk to any person watching it, from any age or gender. Disney is truly an amazing storyteller.
