You soak a little in Beauty Water, and you can just cut away and reshape your whole face and body. I suppose it is mainly aimed at being a critic of the overwhelming cosmetic surgery industry in Korea and its society obsessed with beauty crystallized in their idol industry. So yeah, maybe. If it's not, I'm not sure what the point was. If it is, it's kinda missed.

The main character is extremely despicable. Maybe to show that as soon as you're in the beautiful category you become an horrible person ? It's still pretty weird because she just couldn't be, at least act, like this before and didn't seem to, but she instantly turns into the cliche of the beautiful girl that feels everything is owed to her and behave like a real cunt to everybody else she deems inferior. Although she literally hates Mi-ri, the personification of this behavior she had to live with. She instantly fall in love with the hot guy that doesn't behave like this, which by the way, seems to not appreciate MI-ri's behavior too much. And yet she really instantly becomes like that.

[spoiler]She just bleeds her parents dry of all their money, it's not like she doesn't know they don't have it, she's been living there for a long time. But she's beautiful now, so money should just magically appear to serve her I guess ? And after that, she still needs clothes, but only expensive ones and a ton of them. They even give her skin, probably almost dying, after she fucks up. And yet she still asks for more and keeps treating them like shit.[/spoiler]

Later she just [spoiler]kills the person that helped her the first time, that even just helped her again for free when she had nothing, but no, that was not enough she needed all, she deserved all[/spoiler].

Also, you think that once she's beautiful she would start working and get some more money to pay back her parents, but no. The first thing she does is [spoiler]go on a lot of Tinder dates[/spoiler] ? Like, what ? And it's not even clear why she does that. [spoiler]She's not looking for love. Nor to get laid. She's not even really enjoying the attention as she sees them all as losers. It's also not really to take their money[/spoiler], so really, why then ? What's the plan ?

So in the end it clearly looks like the point is to criticize something. But what exactly and how ? Not sure.That's a big fail on this front.

Graphically it's ok. Animation is really fluid, in front of still decor. I liked the design, which made the movie ok to watch. Because almost everything else was pretty bad.

Final twist is meh, it's on a whole other level and a little too wtf to fit with the rest of the story. [spoiler]Adding, girl's faces everywhere on your body ? OK, wtf. And they seem to still be kinda alive and moving independently ? So what ? Did he also incorporate the whole nervous system that goes with the parts ? He's also the boss of beauty water, not just a user, so where does it come from ? Did he invent it for this purpose ? And after inventing something so revolutionary that's what he does with it ?[/spoiler]. This messes even more the messaging as it could be that all ugly people are potential psychopath ?
