Terrific.

First and foremost, I have to admit I knew nothing about Liberace - other than his name - before viewing this, therefore I don't know how much of it is accurate, made-up, exaggerated etc. That didn't stop me enjoying it, though.

Michael Douglas (Liberace) and Matt Damon (Scott) do do a lot of the heavy lifting, both of them give tremendous performances - especially Douglas. They actually worked very well together, perfect casting. I found Rob Lowe amusing in this, not sure if I was supposed to but I did - not in a negative way in regards to Lowe, just the character of Dr. Jack Startz. Debbie Reynolds (Frances) and Dan Aykroyd (Seymour) also appear, two well-known people playing relatively small roles.

The film looks great, it perhaps lasts a little too long when all is said and done but it didn't hamper my enjoyment all that much. 'Behind the Candelabra' is a very good biopic.

Wow, that was -like the liberace shows in Las Vegas- quite a show. It was a great love story and a hell of a cast.
Besides that it was the gayest movie that i ever saw. But the love story was that good that i could really feel with the couple of the movie.

I heard the movie should be good. Now i think it was even better (especially Douglas und Damon).

I expected so much more from this movie, but it was just utterly boring. Not funny at all. I turned it off halfway in, because I could not bare it anymore.

A real great movie depicting the life of Liberace and Scott Thorson. Extravagance, excessiveness and fame are the center piece of this film. Played perfectly by Michael Douglas, Liberace is portrayed as a lonely gay man looking for companionship played equally as well by Matt Damon. A great watch.

Sensational

Damon and Douglas are really, really great (and fab)!

I knew very little about this story and I didn't knew who was Liberace or what he had done. But the important is that I really enjoyed watching this.
It was very interesting to see the life style of Liberace, his extravagant world and his romance with Scott Thorson. A story about love and sadness. Full of glitz and with a lot of emotion.
Matt Damon and Michael Douglas are so brilliant in this! Their performances are literally the greatest thing of this film since both were superb! And it's very good to see Douglas around again.
I hope Steven Soderbergh returns to the movies because Hollywood can't lose his talent.
