I knew Jake Roberts had a disturbed past but damn, I never knew it was this disturbed. His story is so sad and I'm glad that he's doing better these days!

Beyond the Mat is a very interesting documentary that pulls the curtain away from the old "kayfabe" world of wrasslin'. We mainly follow Mick Foley, Jake "the Snake" Roberts and Terry Funk. All three different people but all three with the same love for Wrestling. We even see a young Rock, we see Steve Austin, Vince McMahon, Paul Heyman and many others.

It's very interesting and I don't want to spoil a lot but it is certainly worth a watch!

My first movie that I decided to watch on this new journey. I'm a big wrestling fan and I enjoy hearing these types of documentaries from the attitude era. This was actually m,y first time seeing behind the scences of wrestlers interacting with each other it was wholesome to watch their stories. Highly recommoned watching.
