This is a nice little movie with some good music and heartfelt story. Nothing that is going to blow you away but it put a smile on my face.

Not the typical film I’d watch, but I’m glad I did...loved it.

Not only nostalgic as I was the same age when the film was set, but I loved the positive message it gives and a true sense of climate of the mid to late 80’s.

There’s actually nothing not to like, give it a watch ;)

A little too much Springsteen at times - although there was probably no getting away from that given the title - and it is somtimes contrived . Still, there is much to like, with some charming characters, and a nostalgic blast from the past with the 80s stylings.

Saw this on the same day like the other British minority driven ‘music’ movie and I gotta say this is vastly better. “Yesterday” is first and foremost a comedy while I’d put “Blinded by the light” in the drama category, so they are not easily comparable. However in terms of heart and substance this easily wins the day. As an avid Springsteen fan this movie spoke to me in many ways but I am sure you will enjoy this even if you have never listened to The Boss. I remember when I first heard his music. I must have been just a bit older than Javed. The lyrics spoke to me right from the start. 9/10

"Guaranteed to make you feel good more than any other movie this year" - New York Post.

GOTTA SAY THIS IS ONE HUNDRED PERCENT TRUE.

Seeing someone who just gets it

Bewilderment at how no one seems to care for the revolutionary material in front of them

The giddiness at showing off your adoration for the world, no matter how cringy it is in retrospect

Being so blinded by the light that you ignore what's in front of you

Fear of having to sacrifice someone else's happiness just for your own shot at happiness

Realizing how beautiful your culture is after it pushed itself away from you for so long

Blinded by the Light is too long and the dad could have been handled better, but fuck me it felt good to relate to a movie.

Loved this movie. My wife doesn't like Springsteen but still enjoyed it. It's definitely one of the better 'music-type' movies I've seen - even the dancing through the street scene was well done. Solid 9.5/10

Amazing movie. While many online reviews state that this is an ode to Bruce Springsteen I believe this movie might speak differently to different viewers hence wide array of ratings & reviews for this movie. Anyway, great film. I would recommend watching it just to be entranced by the musical journey.

A saccharine pop song tribute to the common man poet laureate.

While I appreciate the sentiment of the story, the polished and cliché _Blinded by the Light_ is the antithesis of Springsteen song.
