It's hard not to see this as _The Most Dangerous Game (1932)_ ripoff but that doesn't mean this film isn't good. It's actually pretty entertaining and there are some tweaks that hold my interest. The acting is not the best but it's good for making fun of. It's tense, moves at fast pace and gets quite brutal near the end. What I like about this iteration is one of the teenage girls isn't potrayed as weak and defenseless. She's clever and not afraid to make a move. She remains pretty calm for the situation she's in. Also the special effects are pretty decent for its time. Unfortunately, the hunter character or everything else is too faithful to the original. It's still enjoyable nonetheless.

I was quite pleasantly surprised with this one. Follows the human hunt / a most dangerous game trope fairly effectively. Worth a watch irregardless of its ratings.
