In 18th-century Romania, after spending much of her life in a traveling circus, human-vampire hybrid Rayne escapes and plots to take down her father, Kagan, the evil vampire king. When she's discovered by three vampire hunters, she manages to convince them to spare her life and join her cause. But slaying a vampire as powerful as Kagan will be no easy task.

Great mysteries of the last 100 years: What happened to Amelia Earhart? Who was the Zodiac Killer? How exactly did Uwe Boll get an actor of Ben Kingsley's pedigree to perform in this steaming pile of crap? This was truly an awful movie. From terrible dialogue, one-dimensional characters, and a plot and motivations that make no sense, this is horribleness of epic proportions. Heck, the sex scene that takes place in the middle of the movie is simply for the purposes of seeing Kristanna Loken naked. Seriously, there is no reason for it at all, no character relationships, nothing. Even the incidental music soundtrack sounds like little more than a chimpanzee making a half-hearted attempt to bang out "Chop Sticks" on a keyboard. Truly terrible with no redeeming value.

I find this movie entertaining... ok, it has a couple of technical errors, but I enjoy the movie... never understood why the bad reviews...

They should not do movies based on video games or at least hire a decent screenwriter, What works in a game usually sounds cliche in a movie.

Sex scene is the best part of the film, not a high bar, but there's no point to it. Some decent score and production design, but overall a bore.

This has a great cast, Mr. Blond, Gandhi, Ron Camp, David Herdeg, The Phantom, and Bob with his... well, Meatloaf from Fight Club.
