Wow. with this flick Pixar underlines its leading position in animation movies.
Great movie for the whole Family.
Real existing story with nice music and a lot of fun.

Enjoy it! Must see in Full HD and minumum 5.1

I agree. I think Wreck It Ralph was robbed of winning Best Animated Film.

Unbelievably amazing animation coupled with fantastic voice work and beautiful music.

As others have said, however, the story is a bit lacking compared to what we've come to expect from Pixar. I felt the ability to create an incredible, Pixar-esque story wasn't taken advantage of, which is a shame because the setup had a ton of potential.

Still, it's Pixar, so you have to watch it. :)

Amazing animation, voice acting and music. I fell in love with this movie immediately, and found myself laughing many times. Can't say there was a single character I disliked. One of the most notable aspects of this movie is that, unlike other Disney princesses, Merida's story does not revolve around a romance. She does not find a prince and that's just fine.

My only complaint is at points the story seemed a bit insubstantial. I felt like I could've gotten more at the end of the film. And the whole "witch grants a wish/spell that is not what you expected" part seemed a bit old hat. Been there, done that. Other than those two things, however, it was quite a good film.

What a unique film! Pixar don't usually do films about humans, they've done: toys, bugs, robots etc, and this was a princess film! It is so different and I love seeing the ancient Scottish culture come into it too. Merida is a great role model for young girls, she feels she doesn't need a man and is (as the title says) Brave! It's actually also really funny too

Finally there is a Disney Princess that does not rely on a man. Power to the women!

Gorgeous scenery, beautiful animation, and wonderful voice casting. Enjoyable to watch yet the story seemed somewhat lacking from what we expect from the Pixar studios.

You nailed it. It's really nice animation, but the story is not only lacking, it's most of the time annoying.

The movie has some very good, emotional moments, but it does not save it. And my expectations were not that high.

By comparison to Wall-E, Ratatouille and the by-far better Rango from Nickelodeon Pictures it's not only a disappointing, but also a bad written, hollywood-like movie. The punchline is nice, but everything else is it not.

My Rating: 4/10

A warm, cozy fairy tale that feels more like a Disney production than the latest entry in Pixar's storybook. It's sweet, quirky and funny, but routinely falls back on familiar motifs and often seems criminally under-explored. Since the vast majority of the action takes place in and around a single locale, there's a claustrophobic quality in the air that never truly dissipates, robbing us of the grand scale that's been present in every one of the animation factory's preceding works.

It's no more than a straightforward telling of a reasonably interesting fable, with only a few short jolts of the unique character and timely laughs I've come to expect from the troupe. Of course, there's no arguing the fact that Pixar knows how to produce gorgeous scenery, and Brave is yet another leap forward in that regard; the surrounding landscapes are unanimously breathtaking, and Princess Merida's hair is constantly bouncy and lifelike, truly a character unto itself. It's an enjoyable fresh ride and a marked improvement over the lifeless Cars 2, but misses the depth and flair that made me fall so deeply in love with the studio's classics.

The animation is fantastic, however I thought the story-line could of been a bit better (still entertaining though, especially for children). My only major problem with the story was how it portrayed men. I love the film for its strong, tenacious, and nonconforming female characters, but it's unfortunate that they have to be juxtaposed to the crude, thoughtless male characters. Why can't both genders be strong, one complimenting the other instead of one controlling and/or saving the other either through brain or muscle?
